Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Dried fruit, apricots, pineapples and bananas. Coffee with steamed milk. A floral note, incense sticks, cedar boxes and a little mint.
Palate: Sweet and warm at first. Blood oranges, caramel, grilled pineapple and chilli jam. Hints of Chantilly cream and egg custard.
Finish: Hot with chilli and cumin spice.
Comment: What a belter, big, bold and layered.

Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Mossy, leafy and earthy, like a moist pine forest. Then it's into pine sap, sawn wood staves, a hint of coconut shell and a touch of blackcurrant.
Palate: Hot and spicy, with a burst of chilli chocolate, giving way to a more silky fondant coated coconut, with a touch of cream.
Finish: Tinned peaches, condensed milk and a touch of drying oak, leading to a dash of cayenne pepper. Superb.
Comment: Everything in its right place here and no mistake.
