Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Aromatic. Dry. Medicinal. Juniper.
Palate: Interplay of creamy sweetness, graininess and saltiness. Reminiscent of Japanese seaweed crackers.
Finish: Sea flavours building up for a storm in the sound.
Comment: Light in the middle, and delicate throughout, but lovely Islay flavours.
8.3
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Light, cheerful. Vanilla pod. Fresh garden herbs. Hint of butterscotch, orange blossom. Smoke.
Palate: Palatable sweetness. Barley juice. Appetising cereal notes tinged with mint. Water releases exotic fruity notes (juicy pineapple) and peat reek.
Finish: Short but pleasant.
Comment: Young, easygoing, vibrant. Absolutely unfiltered judging by charcoal particles in the sample.
