Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Heathery. Ferny. Forest floor after rain. Sweet wild flowers.
Palate: Fiddlehead ferns with butter.
Finish: Green peppercorns. Quite assertive.
Comment: A rare opportunity to serve this summery whisky.
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clean, fresh and lively. Pretty estery: flowers, pears, dolly mixture. All high-toned with some dried grass. Malty note with water.
Palate: Soft, quite sweet (sugared almond), light and fairly creamy spirit.
Finish: Short. Immature.
Comment: A well-made light and clean dram. Will Pernod get rid of this distillery as well?
