Tasting notes
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Floral, with a background note of silage.
Palate: Nicely balanced, with sweet, warm leather, fruit notes, and a hint of fresh peat.
Finish: Lengthy, quite sophisticated, slowly drying.
Comment: A very drinkable and comparatively complex dram.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Sweetly peaty: smouldering bonfire, violet, hazelnut/pecan pie. Gutsy.
Palate: Lots of orange peel, dried fruits giving another layer of interest to the slow-burning fire which starts from the middle of the tongue.
Finish: Little green, suggesting it could improve still further.
Comment: There's real substance here. Well-integrated.
