Tasting notes

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Stylish and mature. Lemon zest, dried pear, cereal, cream, pie crust honeycomb, sealing wax, parma violet. Deepens and mellows in time. Lightly oily with a touch of smoke.
Palate: Soft and gentle, with raspberry notes and a creamy edge. Crisps up nicely in the mid-palate.
Finish: Creamy and soft.
Comment: A very classy blend. Recommended.

Taster Martine Nouet

Nose: Perfumed. Ripe pear. Delicate nuttiness. Lemony. Freshly varnished wood. Pleasant fruity bouquet. Releases more citrus fruit with water.
Palate: Smooth to start with then quickly drying on spices. Slightly austere.
Finish: Minty and spicy. Lingering with a dry edge.
Comment: Attractive nose but a wee more restrained palate than expected.
