Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: White boiled sweets are the order of the day, with elderflower, lily of the valley and big notes of pear drops. Lots and lots of pear!
Palate: Hmm, it takes a while to kick in, but once it does there are the light hints of pear from the nose, backed by baked green apple, Mr Whippy ice cream and Chardonnay wine.
Finish: Dry with a little kick of the green apple and some nutmeg spices.
Comment: A fruity and well-rounded dram.
8.5
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Crisp and lightly estery with pineapple, apricot and a touch of barley. With time it develops baked apple tart and vanilla notes.
Palate: Shows more barley and oak, with marzipan and toffee. Again a touch of baked apple appears and a smidgen of citrus on the middle.
Finish: Good, crisp finish with lingering marzipan and soft spice.
Comment: A pleasant, unpretentious and straightforward Highland malt.
