Tasting notes
Taster   Joe Bates
Nose: Nuts, marzipan, caramel and delicate honey combine well to create a veryappealing nose.
Palate: Cedar and sandalwood make an appearance alongside some warming cinnamon, nutmeg and a just hint of cracked black pepper.
Finish: A long, rich, winey finish.
Comment: Difficult to say no to. An attractively smooth, complex whisky that keeps you coming back for more.
8.8
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Apricots, violets and vanilla fudge.
Palate: Quite full, sweet and buttery, but lacks development.
Finish: Buttery to the last, relatively long, with gentle spice.
Comment: The palate disappoints slightly after a promising nose.
