Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Somewhat dry and dusty at first, it eventually permits me some sharp green fruits (gooseberries?) with an almost candyfloss-like top note. Then furniture polish? Beeswax? Resin?
Palate: Medium. Balanced. Some burnt pastry. Vanilla? Young oak. A hint of menthol.
Finish: Surprisingly soft with some green, vegetal notes.
Comment: A curious whisky. Not sure where it's coming from, or going to.
7.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Light and young. Floral (gladioli) and a hint of cereal with a nodule of sweetness. Cooking marmalade, citrus peels, flour.
Palate: Liquorous. Sweet and slightly dusty (sawdust and malt). Raisins, coconut, muesli then a soft floral quality. Smooth and rounded, poached fruits to finish.
Finish: Charred. Short.
Comment: Water splits it. Oak not quite integrated. A good session dram.
