Tasting notes
Taster   Dominic Roskrow
Nose: Aromatic and a bit like a Thai restaurant, with lemongrass, lime, freshbarley, caramel and pantry spices.
Palate: Rich and sweet, with tinned pear and peach but enough spice and body tostop it becoming cloying or over-sweet.
Finish: Balanced and pleasant, but fades quickly.
Comment: The virgin oak explains the spiciness. Quite delightful.
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Sweet and tingling with lilac, custard cream and then sappy oak, sawnpine/sauna. Lifted, fresh and honeyed.
Palate: Soft, with the ginger note. Silky feel with a rich, deep palate that showstouches of sweet sawdust and pine candles. On the sweet side of things.
Finish: Sweet and slightly firm.
Comment: Full and rich.
