Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Another pinkish one. Nougat, flower stems when neat, fruity and juicy with water when there's melon, strawberry, cassis and baked banana. Good.
Palate: A slightly soapy start. The fruitiness which lies behind slightly hidden and the spirit seems a little covered.
Finish: Cloying.
Comment: This starts so promisingly, but the soapiness knocks it for me.
7.3
Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: Orange squash, sugar soap and wet grass. A bit thin on the nose, with a confected cakiness.
Palate: Fairy liquid, with some buttery, fruit pastry.
Finish: More of those dishwater suds.
Comment: Disappointing to drink given the price tag and all the fancy frippery that goes with a bottling like this. I much prefer the 10 Years Old and Artisan cask!
