Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Scented garden aromas: wild rose, thyme, lemon grass. Muscat grape and orange peel.
Palate: Bracing mouthfeel yet almost syrupy. Redcurrant. A lovely blancmange aftertaste.
Finish: Slightly spicy (nutmeg), even warmer with water.
Comment: Light, straightforward. Delicacy without mannerism. Keep it for a romantic candlelit dinner.
8.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Very pale suggesting a neutral cask. Light floral/apple blossom notes and some white fruit. Delicate to the point of ethereal. Water kills it stone dead, just the aroma of dead leaves.
Palate: More to it than the nose suggests but that's not saying a lot. Lightly floral, but no complexity, no drive.
Finish: What finish?
Comment: Like drinking a ghost.
