Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Young in style. Herbal. Garden mint, lemon grass. Bread dough. A light floral touch (meadow flowers). Distant marine echo.
Palate: Oily, thick. Mouth coating. Vivid and fresh. Mustardy. Very clean. Sweet maltiness in the back.
Finish: Surprisingly long for the young age. Grassy.
Comment: A pleasant freshener. Delivers a lot. To be enjoyed on a warm day with raw fish and salad.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Lifted floral and fruity notes: lilac, conference pear, lemon zest. With water there's ginger and camomile tea but also slightly plain oak.
Palate: Alcohol burn even at this strength. Water needed to bring out vanilla syrup and blossom. Light, yet firm and unyielding.
Finish: Slightly bitter.
Comment: A fine enough dram, but insubstantial compared to the others in this company.
