Tasting notes
Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Slightly fermented soft fruit, a touch of white pepper, some dustiness, fresh peach skins and Oil of Olay. A little underlying maltiness develops with a touch of water.
Palate: Sweetened milky tea, some tangerine juice, a little and chocolate covered Turkish Delight.
Finish: Short and sweet, with perhaps a touch of orchard fruit.
Comment: Polite, lightweight and won't swear at the dinner table.
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: A gristy edge, baker's crust at first, like standing next to the mill when it's working. Then fresh coconut, damp tweed and stewing fruits. A scented powdery note too.
Palate: Packed with fruit, none of the fustiness that the nose hinted at. Pears, guava, mango, the cherry from the bottom of a Manhattan. A chocolate silkiness too.
Finish: A little bitterness then a cherry waxiness, cherry lip sweets.
Comment: A hard one to work out as it does not give much away.
