Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Sherried. Raisiny. Toasted nuts.
Palate: Rich. Smooth. Toffeeish. Port-like.
Finish: Spicy. Liquorice. Mint, late warming.
Comment: Closest to The Macallan of today, appropriately enough.
9.3
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Sweetest of the range and the most 'classically' Macallan: toffee (Rolos), crème brûlée, chestnut honey, spice, rubber. Figgy and resinous.
Palate: Rich slippery texture that coats the mouth. Rich and ripe with spikes of dry spices (nutmeg/cinnamon).
Finish: Good length sulphur, oil/resin, chocolate and bitter orange.
Comment: Dry Oloroso.
