Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Reminds me of sweeping leaves at my dad's,that dryness of beech trees. Cooked oranges with a flinty note.
Palate: A nuttyness but washed with orange oil and dry oak.
Finish: Crisp and tingling.
Comment: Autumn would be best for this dram, after sweeping the drive way.
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Very nutty. Dry autumn leaves. crispbread. Slightly bitter. The bitterness. Marmalade-like sweetness (Golden Shred) with water. Some maturity on show. Hot pastryand honey
Palate: Very dry and nutty to start:almond and brazil nut. Some depth in the centre, then a chocolate/cacao note. Oak grips. The dry leaves blow back .
Finish: Very crisp.
Comment: Good nose, but the palate is a little too dry.
