Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Caramel wafer, raisin bread, honey and oats with a little oak and pencil cases. A herbal quality and some tropical fruit.
Palate: Mouth coating, spreads like olive oil. Sweetness balances with good oak notes. Spices lurk in the background.
Finish: Mouth watering and quite long.
Comment: Another brilliant example of this distillery revealing the silverware. A great dram.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy, delicate. Drying hay, honey. Ripe summer fruit: peaches, pears.Quite shy at first. Getting herbal. verbena, lime-tree. Aniseed.
Palate: Rich texture. Thick satin. Some oiliness. Sweet and fresh. Lots of aniseed and star anis. Custard.
Finish: Sweet, intense, lingering.
Comment: A beautiful example of a well-matured Bourbon cask whisky. Still lively anddashing. The perfect 'herbal tea'
