Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Like opening a cupboard full of old leather bound books, sweet with a dryspice edge. There is an oily cream slickness to it.
Palate: Big and full of fruit, Panecotta and tinned tropical fruits. Has depth too with dried fruits and dates.
Finish: Spice and a little dry.
Comment: All the elements are in play to create an excellent spirit.

Nose: Supple, polished leather. Rum and raisin ice cream.
Palate: Full-bodied, buttery, ripe peaches and figs as well.
Finish: Leisurely and drying.
Comment: A substantial, stylish Bourbon.
