Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Mature. Slightly nutty. Roasted maltiness, overripe strawberry. Layered, sweet yet savoury withdried peels and a silkiness suggesting old grain.
Palate: Soft and sweet overall, but there's a balancing nuttiness giving an attractive dry and bitter edge.Elegant.
Finish: Deep autumn woods.
Comment: Great blending, but it would be even better if bottled at a slightly higher strength.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Malty. Custard. Aniseed. Greengage. More cereals notes when aerated.
Palate: Round, velvety. Sweet vanilla. A creamynote. Liquorice. A bit thin.
Finish: Quickly fades away. Refreshing but bland.
Comment: A pleasant dram but flimsy. You tend to forget it as soon as you have swallowed.
