Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Gentle coal tar with damp embers. Takes time to open up but then releases smoke, green tea and fresh cut grass.
Palate: Very sooty wrapped up with a burnt sugar edge.Spice kick tempered with fudge.
Finish: Delightful with a gentle smokiness.
Comment: Peat Monster Reserved? Not really

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fresh and smoky.Almond milk and sweet grassiness/green tea, cooked meats, lobster shells and a great cloud of smoke hanging over it all.
Palate: The smoke hits right at the front of the mouth then comes vanilla creaminess, followed by a sharp tingle of spices.Chewy and tongue coating, allowing these elements to balance each other perfectly.
Finish: Soft, pear like with smoke continuing.
Comment: Not so much a Monster, more a Big Friendly Giant.
