Tasting notes
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Oxidised fruit and herbs. Oozing maturity, with dusty oak and tropical banana, apricot and pear. A touch of barley and creamier oak. Water brings out some waxy citrus.
Palate: Full and honeyed with barley, toasty oak, mature oxidised fruit and herbal rancio. Water emphasises the citrus.
Finish: Gorgeous length with the dusty American oak coming through. Mouth-watering and fruity although it needs diluting to bring out the softness and hints of heather and violets.
Comment: A stunning dram! Sensational neat or with water.

Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Fantastic nose of flambé bananas and Crêpe Suzette. If there isn’t good age on this whisky, then it’s come from a top class cask, sweet oak and warm cinnamon buns.
Palate: Neat, this sits wonderfully on the palate with those warm cinnamon buns making you feel so at home and a dry oak that is perfectly balanced. With water it just gets better.
Finish: Orange creams. Beautiful and delicate old oak and mandarin tones.
Comment: A little over-sweet in places. Aside from that, just wonderful.
