Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Floral with lots of camomile/jasmine tea. Behind is golden syrup, wet raffia and a little wholemeal flour. For its age still green and slightly sappy with only a little waxiness suggesting long maturation.
Palate: Clean and sweet with drying grasses, lemon and a little chalkiness. Maybe a little passive with water.
Finish: Greengage and fresh acidity with just a hint of soap.
Comment: Impressive..
8.2
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense. Oaky and fruity. Beewax. Marmalade, Victoria plum jam. Hint of butterscotch. Slightly chalky.
Palate: Silky. The sweet start quickly gives way to a spice burst. Sherbety. Dances on the tongue. Ginger and a bit of chili.
Finish: Dancing away. Soothes on butterscotch and vanilla.
Comment: A lively character. Better than a wake up call.
