Tasting notes
Taster   Joe Bates
Nose: Quite closed on the nose initally, but a little water opens things up to reveal heather and lavender.
Palate: Sweet, warming and smooth on the palate, filling the mouth with dried fruits, resinous wood, and plum jam flavours.
Finish: Very long, rich and sweet finish.
Comment: A delicate nose for sure, but then powerful, rich and elegant on the palate. Definitely one to take your time over.
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Fruit malt loaf, then mildly herbal notes emerge. Finally, resinous sherry.
Palate: Full, sweet and sherried, with candied orange peel and a hint of cinnamon.
Finish: Spicy to the end, pepper and gentle oak.
Comment: A very satisfying dram.
