Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Flowery, Lime tea, lemon grass, light peat.
Palate: Key lime pie. Lemon meringue. Marshmallow. Candied angelica. Shortbread.
Finish: Icing sugar. Dusty dryness.
Comment: After a weekend walk in the country? Mid to late afternoon. Who needs tea? Just a slice of fruit pie and a generous dram of Benromach.
7.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fresh and attractive. Green walnut, oats and then lily/freesia. Cut grass.
Palate: Light smoke but all ripe, soft and chewy. It's light but has a good sweet mid-palate with touches of fig and nut. Don't add water though.
Finish: Dry with some smoke.
Comment: Good. Well-balanced. An attractive anytime malt.
