Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Unusual. It's like being on a building site. Mix of wet plaster, paint andvarnish. Then opens on baking notes. Short crust pastry coming straight from the oven.Cherry stones.
Palate: Smooth,a bit soft. The same aromatic display as on the nose. With more wood but not the usual flavours of oak.
Finish: Dry with more nerve than at start.
Comment: An aromatised whisky ? Odd,rather well constructed but leave a sickeningfeel. Like a cough syrup.

Taster   Dominic Roskrow
Nose: Seriously weird. Children's oil paint. Pastry. A touch of eucalyptus andmenthol. Handbaggy.
Palate: A much bigger hit of the eucalyptus and menthol, then some mandarinand apricot. Tastes very unlike most whiskies though, and the oil paint's stillin there.
Finish: All change! Suddenly takes a puckering astringency to end with.
Comment: Strewth! If their cricket team doesn't have more depth than this, the Ashes are ours again.
