Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Honey. Turkish delight. Cedary dryness.
Palate: Firm. Smooth. Creamy Oriental desserts. Roses. Flowery dryness.
Finish: Coffee fudge. Almonds. Pistachio nuts. Dryish. Long.
Comment: A luxurious afterdinner malt.
8.3
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Pear drop. Sherry notes (fruit cake and chocolate). Oxtail consommé, toffee, beeswax. Slightly sulphury. Hides its complexity.
Palate: Sherry. Sour apple and orange peel with a balsamic touch (eucalyptus). Dry and oaky.
Finish: Oaky, coffee beans, bitter chocolate.
Comment: Hard to find Linkwood delicacy and elegance in this version. Probably not from outstanding sherry casks.
