Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Grilled Brazil nut and a little dry hay mixed with milk chocolate. Quitecreamy. Medium weight.
Palate: Dried apple and pear galore. Again, some meatiness and earthiness at the root but it's those hard orchard fruits which dominate - by the time you add water there's some treacle sticking to the apple skin. Supple and long.
Finish: Mixed spices.
Comment: Balanced and appealing.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy. Like walking into a herbalist shop. Lemon balm, chamomille. Almond milk. Lemon drop. Barley sugar. Even a yeasty note.
Palate: Very smooth and velvety. Sweet honey infusion. A touch of lemon syllabub. Drying on soft spices. The alcohol is felt on the tongue on the middle of the palate.
Finish: Dry, spicy.
Comment: Perfect 'herbal malt-tea'
