Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Some nose burn. Behind that there's custard, cooking apple, banana chips, lemon. Touch of Turkish delight, icing sugar. With water a carpenter's workbench. Bounty bar.
Palate: Lively. A little perfumed, slight tongueclinging quality, lightly nutty. Tingling, orange fondant and milk chocolate.
Finish: Mustard leaves.
Comment: A frisky wee beastie.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Prickly. Mustard. Angelica. Lemon grass. Hint of carnation. Condensed milk. Ice cream.
Palate: Quite smooth for the strength. Light bodied but syrupy with water. A full burst of pear drops. Sweet cereal. Touch of aniseed.
Finish: Drying. Slightly fizzy. Ends abruptly.
Comment: A pretty, refreshing malt. The high strength is more noticeable on the nose than on the palate. But it does need water.
