Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Sweet, fruity and estery: brown sugar, mashed banana, orange peel, maraschino cherry juice, dried mango. Oak-softening with water.
Palate: Thick, sweet, chewy and liquorous. Cooked fruits, creamy custard. Complex and teasing.
Finish: Sweet. Rosehip.
Comment: A resounding success. Would make a great, if expensive, Rob Roy.
8.8
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Deep, fruity, toffeeish.
Palate: Clotted cream. Cinnamon. Spicy. Liquorice. Rooty. Nutty. Developing dry fruitiness. Very long.
Finish: Yet further length. The flavours concentrate in a winey, spicy, warming \"cough syrup\".
Comment: Perhaps more robust, less elegant, than the previous bottling, but full of flavour and soundly structured.
