Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Dried lemon peel. Fresh and floral, daffodil/iris and touches of dry malt. Shifts into tisane, straw and apple.
Palate: Very soft with good flow. This has more of a juicy guava like softness. Silky and almost wine like. Well integrated oak which adds a lightly spiced element.
Finish: White pepper.
Comment: Charming and well balanced.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Malty and nutty. Oak is well integrated. Cooked plums, marzipan. Apples drying in the attic. Mustiness and earth. Oak comes back.
Palate: Smooth and crisp too. Oak is more prominent but flavours are nicely intertwined. A touch of milk chocolate.
Finish: Dry, with a refreshing sour/bitter touch.
Comment: Very elegant and balanced on the nose. Oak tends to show off but the dram keeps its charm though.
