Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Fruit malt loaf with strawberry jam. Chocolate coated cinder toffee with hints of caramel toffee. Fresh oak, sawmills.
Palate: Fairly gentle with the oak providing decent grip. Light and fresh with a little lemon balm and mint tea.
Finish: Refreshing and dry.
Comment: Not a bad drop at a decent age. A pre dinner discussive malt.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Malty and sweet. Honeycomb, bowl of cereals. Freshly sawed wood.
Palate: Round and light. A bit watery at midpalate. Refreshing. Mint toffee. Sweet maltiness. Honeyed apple compote with cinnamon. Oak is well integrated.
Finish: Fresh, drying on a spicy note. Ginger. Liquorice root.
Comment: Well balanced and aromatic. Honey is the key element.
