Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Dried figs.
Palate: Figgy.
Finish: Minty. Warming, soothing. Late bitterness.
Comment: This mahogany dram looks like a winter warmer, and that is how I would use it.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: A dense, nutty, heavily sherried nose with touches of chocolate and, in time, a fungal and mulch note.
Palate: Dense again: figgy, chocolate cake, dried Pedro Ximinez/muscatel. Some sulphur. Tannic.
Finish: Tarry.
Comment: A beast of a dram. Another case of Longmorn versus wood which has been won by the latter.
