Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Initially a cherry sweet hit followed by oak and barley. A little balsamic notewith a nutty quality.
Palate: Masses of spices and oak grip. The peat comes late on.
Finish: Sharp and swift.
Comment: A lovely twist on the usual bottling. Great for a cold night.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Oaky. Wet floor. Cider cellar. Opening on barley sugar. Touch of sultanas. Aslight sulfury note. Distant peat.
Palate: Oily. Oak speaks out. Getting drier, with a bitter note. A spicy festoon.
Finish: Crisp,dry. Nutty.
Comment: Needs time to cheer up. A rigid oaky profile. Surprisingly, water softens it.
