Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Powerful alcohol masking an underlying delicate sweetness that comes out with water. Leather tonesand horse blankets.
Palate: Another sweet performance but with a menthol whiff that emerges with a little water.
Finish: Just disappears leaving a lingering spiced note.
Comment: A very substantial dram.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: More cask involvement here. Mature. Somewhat akin to a trifle (cream, custard, red fruits, sponge cake, alcohol) pear and a light.touch of spicy (anise) oak.
Palate: Holds higher alcohol well showing there's plenty of flavours locked in. Good grip.
Finish: Spices galore.
Comment: Balanced, mature and elegant. More robust than you expect from Lowlands. Recommended.
