Tasting notes
Taster   Joe Bates
Nose: Delicate floral aromas of rose along with lychee and honey.
Palate: Chocolate flavours make their presence felt as do some melon, pear and light oak notes.
Finish: Some subtle oak and light spice.
Comment: A big hit for me: a fruity, floral whisky of superb balance.
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Rich and aromatic, with plums, incense, vanilla, soft oak and warm milk. Oriental spices, and finally floral notes. Extremely complex.
Palate: Smooth and spicy, with caramel, honey and contrasting dark chocolate and bitter orange.
Finish: Relatively long, with nutmeg and dark oak notes.
Comment: Diverse aroma and flavour characteristics are intertwined in a manner typical of a fine Japanese whisky.
