Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Humidors, that gentle tobacco leaf note. Slightly spicy and earthy. There are soft fruits here too.
Palate: Vibrant and earthy with a very gentle smoke touch. Plenty of soft fruit and a lovely malty edge.
Finish: Takes its time but very lush.
Comment: A fresh vibrant whisky that belies its years.

Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: A whiff of freshly-baked bread, apricots and peaches. Subtle smoke, becoming more leafy.
Palate: Fresh and quite lively for its age. Citrus fruit and wood smoke.
Finish: Medium to long, with spicy nuts, smoke and a final maritime flourish.
Comment: Distillery character has not been overwhelmed by long maturation.
