Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: All the classic sherry matured notes, plums, raisins, a hint of all spice and dried candy fruits. Develops into tablet after a while.
Palate: Those Christmas spices come through. Dries slightly but then becomes mellow and full of figs and dark fruits.
Finish: Comforting and mellow.
Comment: Another release showing this distillery is punching well above its weight with great whisky.

Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Slick figs, Caramac bars, a hint of sweet smoke. Becoming fudge-like in time.
Palate: Full-bodied yet mellow, with sherry, dates and sultanas. A liquid Christmascake indeed.
Finish: Long and warming.
Comment: Keep this for Christmas and drink it with the pudding.
