Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: First of all, the orangey colour is quite striking. A port finish ? Definite winey aromas. Sweet plums. A cheesy touch. Strawberry icecream. Oatcakes.
Palate: Sweet. Very sweet. A bit too much. Summer fruit pudding. A nice fizzy feel.White pepper and ginger.
Finish: Spicy and less sweet.
Comment: First impression is too much sweetness but the good spicy notes balance it. Quite satisfying in the end. I would like it on crushed ice.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Pale pink in hue. Crisp to start with light hints of pomegranate juice and lightly stewed fruits. Although there's a certain earthiness here it still seems a little immature.
Palate: Fruity but still a green unripe edge - again suggestive of immaturity or a lack of interaction with cask.
Finish: Improves. Creamy with red fruit but too late for me.
Comment: We all know 'Dronach is capable of better. This is a relic of an old regime.Better things will come in the future.
