Tasting notes
Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: Estery with very ripe pineapples, sweet sawdust and banana yoghurt. Rum-like sweetness with plenty of vanilla from bourbon casks and fresh orange.
Palate: Rum-enflamed bananas, demerara sugar raisins and pears.
Finish: Oak and perhaps a little spiciness.
Comment: A ray of sunshine.
8.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Light, fresh and very clean start, with delicate cereal notes and some wax crayons. Then it suddenly becomes sweet. Very pretty and lifted. Baked apple and lemon meringue pie.
Palate: Macaroon bars and dessicated coconut. The high alcohol obscures things, but things improve enormously with a drop of water. Delicious, light and zesty.
Finish: Short and clean.
Comment: A great wee aperitif. Fresh and fun.
