Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Gold. Juicy fruits (in fact, Juicy Fruit chewing gum) and some ripe strawberry. Water dries it slightly; malty, with coke (the fuel) and soft creamy fruits and cream. Charming.
Palate: Soft and well-fruited (peach/caramelised apple), then it dries up.
Finish: Dry, quite biscuity.
Comment: Good balance and nice weight if a little woody.
7.5
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Green apple. Garden mint. Orchard flowers. Honey. A hint of white chocolate.
Palate: Very clean. Surprisingly austere on the palate. A hint of smokiness in the background.
Finish: Dry spiciness. Slightly rooty. Softens to almond milk and porridge notes.
Comment: Very fragrant on the nose but more restrained in the mouth. Needs time to perk up.
