Tasting notes
Taster   Dominic Roskrow
Nose: Mince pies, orange fruits, nutmeg and ginger.
Palate: Gentle and soft, with an initial burst of peach and apricot. Clean and sweet, and then a counter-balance from late tannins and a touch of spice.
Finish: Nicely balanced mix of fruit, spice and oak.
Comment: Everything that a Macallan should be.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Toffee notes with some polished oak. A real depth here revealing ginger, spice and a little nutmeg.
Palate: That spice note explodes in the mouth, drying slightly on oak.
Finish: Long and lingering with a suggestion of smoke.
Comment: Yet again Macallan on form. Great interplay with oak and spice.
