Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Toffeish. Candied orange. Heather. Delectable fruitiness (pears and apricots).
Palate: Velvety, smooth. Full, custardy. Pudding-like.
Finish: Delicately lingering, rolling out with toasted malt notes.
Comment: Good introduction to Speyside's generosity. Especially if served with a crème brûlée.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Scented, lifted, estery with some coconut matting, vanilla, with hints of citrus. Water brings out a lovely floral edge (lily/freesia), some orange and poached pear.
Palate: Though subtle it has good weight and a great balance between honey, cream and dry nuttiness.
Finish: A tickly cough of smoke.
Comment: Very attractive, approachable and charming.
