Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Fresh and fragrant. An enticing mixed bouquet of fruit and flowers. Lemon drop. Freesia. Gorse. Ripe pears. Water brings out more fruit.
Palate: Silky, smooth and gently flowing on the tongue. Sweet and refreshing. Juicy grapes, pears and white peaches. A whispering spiciness like a light pinch of ginger. Water tends to take the delicacy out.
Finish: Drying on the skin of fruit rather than the pulp.
Comment: A lovely dram, brightening like the promise of a warm summer.
Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Some lovely spicy stewed red apple notes, coconut, soft vanilla, a little mossiness and sponge cake. Well matured and full of depth.
Palate: Sweet, with more of the red apple, leading into some creamy coconut, patisserie cream, a touch of subtle wood spice and golden syrup.
Finish: Lengthy notes of drying creamy oak and red apple skin.
Comment: What a great start. Really well put together, with a solid and highly drinkable quality. Excellent.
