Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Autumnal.Charred wood, bonfire and hands plunged deep into moist leaf mould. Thick and toffeed, bold with a smoky edge Opens up to mulberry and, with water,a hint of cordite.
Palate: Seems old, deep and quite resinous. Dried fruits, walnut, furniture polish. A slow, elegant and natural quality to it Big tannins, but sweetness to balance.
Finish: Light smoke then a burst of strawberry.
Comment: Elegant and complex. Highly recommended.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Woody at start. Wet boards. A fungal note. Then opening on sweeteraromas. Caramelised apple.
Palate: Sweet and round .A bit flat at mid palate. Then a burst of exotic fruit andpeppercorn. Passionfruit.
Finish: Drying on oak and spices.
Comment: The palate has more to deliver than the nose. But oak prevails too much.
