Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Rich and intense. Unmistakeably Oloroso. Resiny. Plum marmalade. Clove orange, cinnamon.
Palate: Very complex and elegant, releasing waves of flavours. Mulled wine. Jaffa cake. Candied ginger. Spanish oak.
Finish: Lingering, dry, slightly astringent, spicy.
Comment: A rich expression of a venerable sherry maturation. Will delight sherry-cask aficionados.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Resiny. Sappy. Crème brûlée. Smoky.
Palate: Lightly syrupy, developing fruity dryness, then vanilla-pod nutty spiciness...
Finish: Sudden, surprising, surge of smokiness.
Comment: Strathisla has its own distinct, rather dry style-and this is a good example.
