Tasting notes

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Prickly. Immature? Slight metallic note, raw peanut, polished school corridors. Slightly musty carpet underlay.
Palate: Fresh and jasmine like. Lifted and fragrant but overall dilute. Grippy oak.
Finish: Spicy, dusty.
Comment: What a bizarre bottle...musty nose and fragrant palate.

Taster Arthur Motley

Nose: Daffodils, flint, limestone, honey lockets, vanilla and chocolate. Coconut. Liquorice in places, but slightly sour in others.
Palate: More of those honey lockets and chocolate. Although clearly a malt there was again this liquerish quality.
Finish: Light sweetness.
Comment: Pleasant enough malt, but a little unexciting.
