Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Marzipan and jam tarts. There is a nuttiness to this, cake mixture and a hint of cream.
Palate: Much bigger than the nose, plenty of dried fruits, marmalade, apple pie withcinnamon and custard.
Finish: Gentle drying oak and a little spice.
Comment: All in balance here, a great aperitif.
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Raspberries, vanilla and almonds.
Palate: Quite full-bodied; old leather, dried fruits and cinnamon.
Finish: Steadily drying, with anise.
Comment: Interesting contrast between nose and palate.
