Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Fragrant. Leafy and grassy with meadow flower scents. Mash-tun atmosphere.
Palate: Aniseed. Rich maltiness reminiscent of hayloft. Nutty and creamy.
Finish: Quiet and soothing with an appetising liquoriced profile.
Comment: A satisfying, nourishing, clean malt. But where is the bay?
7.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Very pretty, lifted nose all apple blossom, icing sugar, light honey and reminiscent of those crystallised fruits filled with fruit syrup.
Palate: Light, (as you'd expect) maybe just a little too light. Some lemon/icing sugar mid-palate but it doesn't quite carry to the finish.
Finish: Short. Fades quickly.
Comment: Drink neat.
