Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Shows maturity, with a lifted estery quality. More perfumed and floral with water. Digestive biscuits and nutmeggy spiciness then clove.
Palate: Seamless and highly energetic. Layered fruits, dark chocolate and a dazzling array of spices that fly over the tongue.
Finish: Sparkling. Complex.
Comment: Another killer from Mr Walker's warehouse. Distillery of the year for me.
8.8
Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: Honeysuckle, gala melon and some sweet, oily terpentine notes. Vanilla-infused rice pudding, baked sweet gammon and powdered almonds.
Palate: Peaches in sweet syrup, orange, grass. Marzipan and sultana cookies, made with nutmeg.
Finish: Drying tannins that balance the earlier sweetness.
Comment: Proudly and confidently mature.
