Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Hazelnut, red apple, light cake/patisserie with a hint of peach, apple blossom whittled stick and fiddlehead fern.
Palate: Lightly bready, then soft fruits. Lifted and sweet with a decent spread offlavours. But it can't quite hide a rawness in its heart.
Finish: Gentle and sweet.
Comment: Nice but needs the middle filling out.
7.6
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Malty. Cereal bowl. Lemon drop. Pear nectar.
Palate: Mellow and sweet. Very fruity. The pear nectar overwhelms the malty flavours.
Finish: Dry and a bit harsh.
Comment: Tastes young (close to new spirit !) and one-dimensional. But not unpleasant.
