Tasting notes
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: High toned, young and herbal. Quite grainy with nose prickling alcohol. With time a semblance of dried fruit and background oak appears.
Palate: Broader with a touch of fleshy fruit and a little more noticeable oak. Overly alcoholic with hints of dried fruit and spice. Water flattens it.
Finish: Short and hot but some sweet dried fruit tries to offset.
Comment: No need to add water to this one.

Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: A mineral note rises from the glass, which is backed by gooseberry, light vanilla and manilla envelope. Fairly neutral and water doesn’t add a great deal.
Palate: The closest I’ve had to a vodka in a long time. Think bison-grass infused vodka with a spoonful of sugar syrup in and you won’t be far off.
Finish: Gone. Nothing there. Very thin and fleeting.
Comment: Use as a wash in a martini, maybe? Or as a martini.
